    Division Winners
    American League East: Boston Redsox
    American League Central: Detroit Tigers
    American League West: Texas Rangers

    My selections have anything to do with the fact that I root for all three of these teams. I

    National League East: Philadelphia Phillies
    National League Central: Milwaukee Brewers
    National League West: Los Angeles Dodgers

    Full disclosure, I hate the Phillies and the Dodgers.

    Playoff Wild Card Teams
    American League:
    New York Yankees
    Baltimore Orioles
    Los Angeles Angels

    See, I hate the Yankees and hate the Orioles ownership. I can be fair.

    National League:
    New York Mets
    San Francisco Giants
    San Diego Padres

    Yep, hate the Mets.

    The best two divisions in baseball will take half of this years playoff spots. The AL East and NL West will have 3 slots each.
