    Tariffs on Canada: Misplaced Blame for Fentanyl Crisis

    The word out of the White House is that we must put tariffs on Canada. This is to stop the flow of Fentanyl across the Northern Border of the United States.

    Fair enough.

    Or not.

    According to the U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency and the Canadian Government, less than 1% of the street Fentanyl comes from Canada.

    Less than 1%.

    Here is something you should know. Canada does not allow Fentanyl into the United States. The United States does.

    Talk to any trucker that crosses the northern border. When a truck enters Canada, the U.S. does not stop to inspect the truck. The truck advances to a Canadian check point within a few miles of the border. Once at the check point, the truckers show their paperwork, their truck is weighed and inspected. Canada is responsible for checking what gets into their country.

    Continue the conversation with the trucker. The trucker will tell you that when they leave Canada, Canada does not inspect their trucks. The trucks enter the United States and advance to a United States check point. At that inspection site, it is the Americans that process the trucker’s paperwork, weigh the truck, and inspect the cargo.

    Although the illegal goods come from Canada the United States allows them into the country.

    Canada has vowed to spend $1.3 billion on border improvements and the hiring of a Fentanyl Czar. Canada is addressing the issue.

    The question remains. What is the United States doing at our borders to slow the flow of Fentanyl?

    Less than 1% of the United States’ street Fentanyl comes from Canada. The United States provides a far greater amount of the Canadian street Fentanyl.

    The United Sates accounts for 4.4% of the worlds population but consumes 80% of the world’s opioids. The United States has a drug problem.

    The United States can point fingers. They need to start looking in the mirror.

    It’s pretty simple what is happening. The United States had a drug problem. To fix it they want other countries to attend rehab.

    The White House can blame China, Canada, and Mexico for the drug issues. Fentanyl is an American problem. It needs to be solved by Americans.

    Telling someone you will not be their friend because you have no self-control is a YOU problem.

    The White House can no longer tank relationships with allies. This causes worldwide economic downfalls. It starts a global recession. This is no way for the U.S to fix a U. S. problem.

    It is time for the United States to own the problem, stop blaming others, and much needed help.

    I have delayed writing this particular blog for almost a week. Why? I am writing with a broken heart.

    Of course I am writing about the Fiasco on Pennsylvania Avenue.

    The president and the vice-president of the United States shocked the entire world. They dropped their pants and mooned everyone.

    Their invited guest, the elected President of Ukraine, was attacked, belittled, chastised, and bullied. This was part of a plan to give Trump a closer relationship with Russia. It aimed to line his own pockets with Ukrainian minerals.

    Trump’s plan was to reflect strength. He wanted to present power and to show off his negotiation skills. His goal was to prove to the world that he and he alone held the keys to a peaceful Universe.

    Trump had tried to bully Denmark and Greenland. They laughed in his face.
    Trump had tried to bully Canada. Canada continues to laugh in his face.
    Trump had tried to bully Mexico. Mexico laughed in his face.
    Trump had tried to bully Panama. Panama laughed in his face.

    He realized he was running out of countries to bully. So, he went after a desperate people in the throes of a 3-year invasion. What happened? The entire free world laughed in his face. Russia celebrated the dismemberment of the United States as a world power. Americans, true Americans were left heart broken.

    For 45 minutes the Oval Office became a squared circle. An event transpired that need the voice of Michael Buffer and the marketing prowess of Vince McMahon.  Trump and Vance took turns degrading President Zelinski. Like a practiced tag team. They took turns insulting and degrading President Zelinski. It was a relentless attack. Yet nothing actually hit. Nothing hurt. President Zelinski took blow after blow. He countered snark with facts, he ducked lies and responded with facts. The more they missed, the madder and madder Trump and Vance attacked.

    At the end of the day, Trump and Vance were bloodied. The American place as a work leader damaged. Ukraine and their President were stronger. The EU instantly rallied to Ukraine’s aide, providing them the protections the United States had sworn to provide.

    The only winner from this unwarranted scuffle on the Trump / Vance side of the ring was their boss. No not Elon Musk. Russian Evil Doer Valdy Putin.

    Russian news and the those in the Kremlin were celebrating. They knew what they witnessed was the end of a united United States. a weakened United States is no longer a foe. They know that having Trump as a friend gives them the presents they need to take Ukraine. They can take parts of other EU countries. They can also do whatever they want.

    China, without even having a dog in this fight walked away as winners. They know now that anytime they want it, Taiwan is theirs for the taking.

    When the United States aligns more closely with the Axis of Evil, the black hat fits better than the white. In this scenario, the American people are the biggest losers.

    We can look at the Musk transitionary dismantling of the United States with fear and anger. Yet it breaks hearts to see the United States dismantled as the beacon of freedom. Its decline as a symbol of democracy is truly heartbreaking.

    Thanks to a block of the most narrow minded voters, the United States is no longer a free nation. Ignorant and unaware voters have contributed to this state.

    Thanks to some of the richest people in the World, the United States is no longer a free nation.

    The United States is now at the mercy of Elon Musk.

    Fools and morons elected Donald Trump to be President. What happened?
    * The GOP become the American Schutzstaffel.
    * Through his firing of top military leaders and replacing them with * Trump loyalists, the  American Gestapo is being created.
    * Elon Musk purchased Donald Trump, making Trump nothing more than a mouthpiece for Musk’s propaganda.
    * Elon Musk turned Trump into a Putin puppet.
    * Elon Musk is not so slowly breaking down the United States into Russia’s 22 Second Republic.

    For all the talk of Trump trying to make Canada the U.S. 51st, Musk is already turning the U.S into Russia’s 22 Republic.

    Trump lacks original ideas. He shares a bed with Musk and owes Elon his get-out-of-jail-free card. Trump has become exactly what the U.S. was never intended to be; a second class country owned by another, managed by a despot.

    Trump and his loyalists engage in subterfuge and lies. They resort to cheating, stealing, and shenanigans of all types. Their goal is to bully and coerce anyone that dares stand in the way of Elon’s vision.

    Musk’s Starlink is used by people, businesses, and governments in 118 countries, territories, and markets. This includes all seven continents and oceans worldwide.

    Starlink is a privately held company. The US is paying Musk $8,000,000 a day for access to his tools and companies. Why?

    For Military use  

    • The US Department of Defense has contracted with Starlink for use by the Air Force, Army, and Special Operations Command 
    • The US Navy has used Starlink to improve internet connectivity for deployed service members. 
    • The US government has also contracted with SpaceX to build Starshield, a military version of Starlink. 


    Government operations 

    • Starlink is used by US embassies and other government agencies.
    • Starlink provides reliable internet connectivity for government operations, allowing for seamless communication and access to critical information.


    Other uses 

    • Starlink has been used extensively in the Russo-Ukrainian War


    Which brings us to the latest issue. Trump is demanding that Ukraine give the U.S. 50% of it is natural mineral resources. Trump and his minions has said that if Ukraine does not sign this agreement, Starlink will be shut down.

    Since the U.S. does not own or control Starlink, the U.S. cannot make that threat and have it have any depth.

    However, Musk using the Trump Puppet can make that threat.

    The U.S. is being leveraged to benefit Musk, Putin, dismantle the EU while weaking the U.S.

    The U.S under Musk and Trump, with careful input and direction from Putin is nothing more than mouth piece of evil, world destruction and setting the pace for the end of Democracies all over the world.


    If you really think that Musk and Putin will stop at taking minerals and land from Ukraine, you are insane. They won’t stop after seeing how easy it is when you take a country’s leadership. It becomes even easier when you control the world’s communication.

    There are 118 countries that are now beholden to one man, one company.

    The United States is the country that could have properly stood up to Musk. Instead, the country elected a small, cowardly, selfish, moron. All Trump has done is goosesteeped the United States into being a total non-factor as a peace maker and world leader.

    Musk has already been given unfettered access to the accounting information for the entire U.S, from Government departments to mom and pop’s social security numbers. Musk will soon be given access to Fort Knox. If you do not think Musk is already creating his bribery peace accord with the U.S., targeting our resources, you are exactly as stupid as the rest of the world thinks you are.

    Congratulations MAGA cultists. You have helped bring the world to its knees, bowing to one man. And it is not the one you voted for.

    Your reward? You will find out now that you have fucked around.
